Schools that enable their learning communities via a hashtag

· twitter,Education,Hashtag

I recently tweeted a list of schools who leverage a hashtag to grow their learning communities.  Shortly after I received a number of updates so I thought a quick post might be a better way to curate them.

Why use a school hashtag?

Shekou International School noted improved classroom transparency, de-privatisation of practice, vertical PK12 connections, trans-disciplinary opportunities, sharing of passions, brand exposure (circa 20 million impressions) and tangible recruiting benefits.

The video below could be useful when launching the idea with your community.

So who's using a Twitter hashtag?
